We are looking for caring, dedicated individuals to join our team and help deliver high-quality support that creates lasting positive outcomes to enable children to remain at home wherever possible.

If you have relevant experience but don’t have a professional qualification, we can support you to achieve this in work.

• Delivering high-quality outreach and short break care support to children, young people, and families
• Building strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and carers
• Supporting families with practical guidance to promote consistent, safe parenting
• Providing emotional and behavioural support to help young people reach their full potential
• Working one-to-one with children and young people to build confidence, independence, and resilience
• Acting as a positive role model and advocate for those in your care
• Safeguarding and always promoting the welfare of children
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes
• Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory and organisational standards
• Helping create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where young people can thrive

We’re looking for individuals who are:

• Caring, resilient, and professional in their approach
• Skilled at building positive relationships and communicating effectively
• Confident in managing challenging behaviours and situations
• Knowledgeable about safeguarding and committed to protecting vulnerable individuals
• Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including outreach and residential support

The post requires a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent or a commitment to undertake the level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner apprenticeship from you to achieve the qualification within two years of appointment.
