Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and families?
We are looking for caring, dedicated individuals to join our team and help deliver high-quality support that creates lasting positive outcomes to enable children to remain at home wherever possible.
If you have relevant experience but don’t have a professional qualification, we can support you to achieve this in work.
What you will be doing- Delivering high-quality outreach and short break care support to children, young people, and families
- Building strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and carers
- Supporting families with practical guidance to promote consistent, safe parenting
- Providing emotional and behavioural support to help young people reach their full potential
- Working one-to-one with children and young people to build confidence, independence, and resilience
- Acting as a positive role model and advocate for those in your care
- Safeguarding and always promoting the welfare of children
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory and organisational standards
- Helping create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where young people can thrive

About YouWe’re looking for individuals who are:
- Caring, resilient, and professional in their approach
- Skilled at building positive relationships and communicating effectively
- Confident in managing challenging behaviours and situations
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding and committed to protecting vulnerable individuals
- Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including outreach and residential support
The post requires a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent or a commitment to undertake the level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner apprenticeship from you to achieve the qualification within two years of appointment.
