The RoleDo you want to join a service where Ofsted said at our recent inspection:
'Social workers are well supported and say they feel valued' and 'Social workers describe a culture of regular and reflective supervision.'?
In 2023 we retained our overall GOOD grading from Ofsted in our ILACS.
This role sits within our Integrated Front Door Team, which in other Local Authorities is referred to as the MASH. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and the skills of others within our team.
This is none case holding, office-based role whereby you will be working collaboratively with all partner agencies within the Integrated Front Door including the Police, Health, Missing from Home Coordinator, Independent Domestic Violence Advocates and Children with Disabilities Duty.
Whilst the role is none case holding, you will still be afforded the opportunity to have daily interactions with partner agencies outside of the Integrated Front Door and with families and members of the public.
This is a fast paced and exciting role whereby you will be screening, triaging and make threshold decisions relating to all new referrals to the Integrated Front Door. You will also be relied upon to provide your expert knowledge to professionals and families and contribute to strategy meetings and other multi-agency meetings.
As set out in our Bolton 2040 vision our first mission is Family-Friendly , where every child matters and we are passionate about keeping children and young people at the heart of the work we do.
We want to make sure all our children and young people have the best possible start in life, so they have every chance to succeed and be happy.
Bolton is a fantastic place to work, and our employees thrive working here. We are incredibly proud of our Bolton Family, of which you will become an integral part.
We are keen to support you to progress in your social work journey with training and development opportunities.
If this sounds like an opportunity you’d like to know more about, we’d love to hear from you.
