Salary: GBP 12.71 – GBP 17.58 per hour (based on days and experience)

Join the Elite Driver Academy and serve your community with pride. As a bus driver you will navigate Greater Manchester routes, provide excellent customer service, and act as a community ambassador.

• Monday – Friday: GBP 12.71 per hour (upon successful completion of training)
• Saturday: GBP 13.62 per hour (upon successful completion of training)
• Sunday: GBP 14.86 per hour (upon successful completion of training)
• Monday – Friday: GBP 15.51 per hour (after one year of service or if you already hold your PCV licence)
• Saturday: GBP 16.87 per hour (after one year or PCV licence)
• Sunday: GBP 17.58 per hour (after one year or PCV licence)

• Navigate your bus safely and efficiently throughout Greater Manchester.
• Provide first‑class customer service and maintain a friendly, professional attitude.
• Act as a community ambassador, building positive relationships with passengers.
• Perform precise manoeuvres and manage challenging routes confidently.
• Collaborate with fellow drivers and support staff to meet performance targets.
• Adhere to all safety, punctuality, and professionalism standards.

• Full UK driving licence with no more than three points and right to work in the UK.
• Previous bus driving experience preferred, but new applicants welcome.
• Positive, outgoing attitude with excellent communication skills.
• A commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork.
• Willingness to undergo training and obtain a PCV licence via the Driver Academy.

• Competitive initial hourly rate starting at GBP 11.04.
