Overview
We are seeking a professional Class 2 (HGV
2) Driver to join our clients team in Bolton on a temporary to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in commercial driving, with a focus on delivery services.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for drivers with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and efficiency. The position involves operating flatbed lorries and ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes, contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics team.
Duties
Safely operate Class 2 Gully wagons with full training provided
CSCS card is preffered but not required
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with legal requirements
Will be required to use a digital platform tablet to record information at each gully location
Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during driving and delivery tasks
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with the dispatch team
Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to management for resolution.
Skills
2 years Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with flatbed lorries or similar vehicles
Valid Category C (Class
2) driving licence with no restrictions
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to handle physical tasks such
Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
Prior experience with delivery routes in the Bolton area is advantageous but not essential
