ResponsibilitiesMay perform travel arrangements for management. Plans, coordinates and facilitates meeting locations and preparation of presentations as required.

Provides customer service and information to site visitors/public.
Job Duties:
Performs additional duties as assigned and complies with agency rules and procedures.
- Education: Graduation from High School or GED.
- Experience: Three years of experience in administrative support work; experience maintaining filing systems with documentation; experience editing data in charts, spreadsheets, graphs and databases; experience preparing summaries or reports; experience guiding or supervising others.
- Licensure: Valid State driver's license.
- Substitution: Thirty-semester credit hours from an accredited college or university with coursework in management, business administration or related field may substitute for one year of the required experience, up to a maximum of two years.
- Four years of experience in administrative support work.
- Experience in customer service.
- One year of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Experience in cash management, accounting, auditing or revenue reporting concepts.
- Experience in expenditure tracking, budget management or reconciliation.
- Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures.
- Knowledge of purchasing, procurement methods or procedures.
- Knowledge of State of Texas Purchasing rules.
- Skill in use of standard office equipment and software;
Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms; training others; budget management and forecasting. - Ability to communicate effectively; handle difficult situations; evaluate administrative systems; and accurately handle cash and revenue.
- Work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week; overtime, holidays, weekends may be required with approval.
- May operate a state vehicle; travel up to 5% with possible overnight stays.
- Follow dress and grooming standards and safety procedures; adhere to non-smoking policy in state buildings and vehicles.
