Area Development Manager
DescriptionAt VRC Companies, LLC, our successful sales team drives our business. The Area Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue by acquiring new clients, maintaining existing relationships, and closing deals.
Objectives of this Role- Represent our company’s products and services, beginning with deep product knowledge and followed by consumer research to identify how our solutions meet customer needs.
- Generate, nurture, and maintain a consistent pipeline with current clients and new leads through effective sales and marketing strategies to meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas.
- Develop and implement a territory action plan based on comprehensive data analysis, adjusting sales techniques based on prospect and client interactions.
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify potential business opportunities.
- Identify prospects, schedule appointments, conduct qualifying calls, follow up on leads, create proposals, and manage the sales cycle to close new business across all service categories offered.
- Demonstrate in‑depth product knowledge, conduct demos, and handle objections.
- Achieve sales goals by following a defined selling process and utilizing demos and presentations.
- Escalate and handle customer service items as directed by sales leadership.
- Coordinate with other sales leadership and staff to ensure company quotas and standards are met, performing market research and competitor monitoring.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of account management experience (cold calling, customer service, proposal development, and closing deals).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, sales management software, and CRM systems.
- High level of personal integrity.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven success rate at or above quotas.
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills.
$50,000 plus commission.
