Overview

The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals within their territory, establishing and maintaining customer relations, and consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding Arthrex products and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory by building strong relationships and developing sales strategies.
  • Communicate with current and new customers about product updates, changes, and educational programs.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and meet/exceed objectives.
  • Manage new product introductions and cross-sell additional products.
  • Address account issues promptly.
  • Support compliance by maintaining confidentiality, acting ethically, and adhering to laws and policies.
  • Participate in coaching, training, and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Maintain training on sales skills and product features.
  • Collect industry and competitive data to stay current.
  • Attend sales and professional meetings outside regular hours as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Requirements

    Education and Experience
    • Minimum 3+ years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
    • Comfortable in open operating room environments.
    • Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and OR protocols.
    • Ability to learn technical information related to surgery.
    • Prior sales experience is a plus.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Training
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Ability to create effective business plans (30/60/90).
    • Strong communication and public speaking skills.
    • Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
    • Self-confidence and competitive drive.
    • Ability to work independently and responsibly.
    • Compliance with all policies and regulations.
    Tools and Equipment
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Access to transportation.
