PositionSummary
The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician is an exciting staff‑level opportunity at Multi Care, assisting in manipulative and non‑discretionary functions of the practice of pharmacy. In this role, you will apply your organizational skills and attention to detail for successful daily work operations.
Responsibilities- You will assist in ordering of supplies from wholesaler and direct accounts, and verify items received against invoices.
- You will store items received and maintain stock levels, including dating and initialing invoices and/or packing slips upon receipt.
- You will enter customer’s medication and billing information into the computer system.
- You will answer and screen telephone calls and forward calls as needed.
- You will perform extemporaneous compounding under pharmacist supervision.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the Washington State Department of Health.
- Successful completion of National Pharmacy Technician Certification Program (preferred).
- Retail pharmacy experience (retail only).
- If required to drive an MHS vehicle, a driver’s license is required.

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into this position. The pay scale is $26.58 - $43.93 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale aligned with the applicant’s years of experience.
