Since then, we have more than tripled in size and become the 2nd largest Panera franchisee in the world, continuing to grow by building new stores and acquiring franchise operators. Reporting to the Market Leader are Area Directors, who oversee the cafes in their area. General Managers manage individual cafes. Assistant Managers handle department operations, and Team Managers support overall cafe leadership. Our team has over 190+ years of experience in the restaurant industry, with 60+ years within Flynn Group.

Position Description

Our Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly environments featuring baked breads, pastries, made‑to‑order soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso drinks. We focus on a grease‑ and alcohol‑free environment, operating with no late nights, and we value morning people. Managers supervise up to 75 staff members to deliver a top‑quality service experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding leadership and inspire the team.
  • Coaching, counseling, and creating a profitable environment while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, safety, and facility management.
  • Lead day‑to‑day operations, operating shifts safely, and ensuring a consistent positive customer experience.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff, ensuring all team members are competent in food service and customer support.
  • Manage business performance, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and promote company values and ethical practices.
Qualifications
  • At least 1‑2 years of hospitality experience.
  • Food Management certifications a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a Run it Like you Own It mentality.
  • Excellent organization, customer service, time management, and communication abilities.
  • Proven track record for leadership and ability to work well under pressure with a diverse team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Reference checks required.

Physical Standards
  • Must stand and move comfortably for up to 10 hours.
