Retail Sales Associate - 2994 at First Cash — Full-Time

Pay: $16.66 to $17.75 per hour

  Sundays closed in many locations.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate supports customer service on lending and retail sides, processing sales, loans, and other transactions. The role involves engaging with customers, answering inquiries, and resolving problems; may work with jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. The position offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity.

• Greet and engage customers to understand needs and offer appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures and maintain a clean, stocked sales floor with merchandise displays.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per procedures.
• Answer inbound calls per company standards and communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Collaborate with coworkers to deliver a positive customer experience; complete required training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified where applicable.
• Minimum age 18;
  High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong customer service orientation, teamwork, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency and cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; ability to work at multiple locations if required.
• Computer literacy; ability to operate POS systems.

Commission incentives are proprietary. Pawnbrokers may earn 2–8% commission based on personal performance; specifics discussed during interview. Payrates will not be below local minimum wage requirements. Earned Wage Access details and 401(k) eligibility are described above.
