• Bag groceries at checkout ensuring items are protected and secure.
• Aim to include at least five items in each bag while maintaining quality.
• Follow best practices for bagging items in reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist customers in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offer help loading bags into customers’ vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to shelves.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and promote store offerings.
• Clean spills, collect trash, and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Recognize and report unsafe conditions, accidents, or issues to store management.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Provide a welcoming environment, answering product questions across the store.
• Apply company policies, comply with local, state, and federal laws.
• Work cooperatively in a high‑pace, sometimes stressful environment.
• Handle conflict calmly and cooperatively, acting with honesty and integrity.
• Support direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Retail experience preferred but not required.
