• Prepare bakery and deli items according to customer requests and proper equipment use.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products in the correct portion size to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend bakery or deli items to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines.
• Prepare foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients using appropriate utensils and equipment.
• Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
• Check product quality for freshness and review 'sell by' dates.
• Maintain proper temperatures and logs for cases and coolers.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels, report discrepancies.
• Assist customers and provide product knowledge and suggestions.
• Maintain a welcoming environment and foster trust and respect among staff and customers.
• Follow safety protocols, inspect equipment, and report issues.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Support diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
