Industrial Cleaner - Bonnyrigg Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Manpower is currently recruiting on behalf of our long‑established food manufacturing client based in Bonnyrigg. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Industrial Cleaner to join a busy production environment with the potential to secure a permanent contract. This is a temporary to permanent position – offering long‑term stability and career progression for the right candidate.

• £12.40 per hour, rising to £12.65 per hour after 12 weeks

• Week 1: 06:30 – 14:30
• Week 2: 14:30 – 22:30

• Due to the site location, own transport is essential

Working within a busy food manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards across the factory floor and production areas.

• Cleaning and sanitising production lines and machinery
• Deep cleaning of floors, walls, and work surfaces
• Handling and disposing of waste in line with company procedures
• Using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Cleaning communal areas including staff facilities
• Completing cleaning records and documentation accurately
• Supporting production teams with maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is essential
• Understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Own transport due to location
