Bus Driver

Your new company
You will be joining an existing driver pool at a large organisation in the Edinburgh area. Due to a new run being signed off, they are looking to add a Category D bus driver for a contract starting ASAP.
Your new role

Drive various sizes of buses on shuttle runs, school runs and community excursions to provide transport for the public,
Provide physical assistance to those with mobility challenges, including operating lifts or ramps.
Adhere to planned routes and maintain punctuality for pickups and drop-offs.
Drive safely and within the speed limits at all times.
Engage with customers/the public in a polite and courteous manner.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified category D bus driver with zero/minimal points and endorsements on your licence and ideally with experience working in a similar environment. We will need you to be at the depot for an early start each day, with plenty of on-site parking for your own transport. This will be a Monday - Friday day shift working pattern.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a position with one of the largest employers in Edinburgh. Hays will pay you weekly PAYE with the option of accrued annual leave. You will be required to complete a PVG Scotland Check which Hays will complete on your behalf.
