Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Healthcare System seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will include both the clinic and the OR. The Physician Assistant will support a Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a very busy practice. His practice includes a mix of General and spine orthopedic cases. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.

Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified and have an orthopedic rotation. The position also offers a great work/life balance. Experience preferred but this Doctor will train the right candidate.

The location is near the Boone area in NC. There is a competitive compensation package (25 PTO days, pension, healthcare, dental, vision, including a bonus program (plus sign-on). Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package.
