Walker College of Business – Appalachian State University (Asheville, NC)

• Master’s degree in Marketing or an MBA from an AACSB accredited program (required).
• 10–15 years of relevant industry and professional experience.
• Teaching interest in one or more areas of marketing and supply chain management.

• ABD consideration:
  Not applicable. Only candidates with an earned doctorate or terminal degree from an accredited institution will be considered.
• ABD with reduction in rank and salary:
  If evidence of a successful dissertation defense is received by July 31 (fall hire) or November 30 (spring hire), the candidate will be hired at full rank. If not, a one‑year fixed‑term contract will be offered with a reduced rank and salary.

• Teach 10 course sections per year in marketing and/or supply chain management during the 11‑month contract.
• All classes are taught asynchronously, online, for 8 weeks each.
• Participate in the Flight Path program and collaborate with faculty.
• Maintain instructional materials and participate in departmental meetings.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
