- Ph.D. or D.M.A. in Music Education; experience in music education teaching placements.
- Ability to communicate in written and/or verbal form
- Ability to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Ability to professionally represent the program/department
- Ability to work with clients (students, employees, public) via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, phone calls, and/or emails
- As needed, ability to work independently or as a team member team

The Coordinator of Music Education Student Teaching Assignments is responsible for coordinating student teaching placements by understanding the living situations of students, assessing travel distances, and matching students to schools that align with their strengths and weaknesses. The Coordinator will attend meetings and work closely with the Reich College of Education to ensure optimal placements and maintain effective communication throughout the placement process.
Preferred QualificationsPh.D. or D.M.A. in Music Education; experience in music education teaching placements.
