Watauga County Tax Department/License Plate Agency is accepting applications for the position of License Tag Specialist.
Duties include:
- processing vehicle registrations and titles
- preparing and processing passport applications and all related information
- preparing reports
- assisting the public
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by business courses and some experience involving public interaction in an automated environment is required.
Must possess a Notary Public commission or be able to obtain one within a reasonable amount of time.
- County benefit package includes health insurance, retirement, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave.
Salary grade 5, $49,039.
