Role Description

This is a temporary, on‑site role for a Health Promotion Specialist based in Boone, NC. The Health Promotion Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing health promotion initiatives, conducting community outreach, and coordinating health education programs. This role will involve providing support and education related to community and reproductive health, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring programs align with community needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health Promotion and Health Education strategies
• In‑depth knowledge of Community Health practices and initiatives
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse populations
• Understanding and experience in Reproductive Health topics
• Ability to collaborate with community stakeholders and work in a team environment
• Relevant experience in public health or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Community Health, or a related discipline
