Get Involved! Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Donor Operations Data Specialist to join our Information Technology department, working in Boone, NC
. As a Donor Operations Data Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data that fuels our ministry’s donor engagement. Working closely with teams across Samaritans Purse and our international offices, you will manage imports from external files into our donor management system and set up system codes to maintain a clean and reliable coding structure.
Your attention to detail will provide accurate data for mailings, emails, and information requests, directly supporting communication and outreach efforts. Join a mission-critical team and use your technical precision each day to help advance the Gospel!
A day in the life of a Donor Operations Data Specialist:
In the role of Donor Operations Data Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
- Manage the import of external file data into the donor management system, ensuring proper mapping, coding, and data integrity.
- Create and run data queries from our donor management software and related products for direct mail, email campaigns, and reporting needs. Document requirements for programming staff for custom queries that must be developed outside the donor software.
- Operate mailing list quality/postal software to ensure data quality, postal compliance, and optimal mailing rates.
- Quality check mailing and email files and data query results to ensure accuracy of data provided, identifying and reporting any issues for resolution.
- Update mailing list quality/postal software directories and install software updates as needed.
- Set up system codes and ensure the integrity of donor account codes and motivations.
- Track and schedule selects to meet production deadlines.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and one (1) or more years of related experience and/or training.
- A relevant combination of education and experience would also be considered.
- General knowledge of donor management systems and related tools for querying, segmentation, and campaign support, along with working knowledge of U.S. postal regulations, is preferred.
