As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will support patient care in our clinic during business hours. You will collaborate with the care team to assess and treat patients, administer medications and advance public health screenings.

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, APP, and/or physician, evaluating outcomes and adjusting nursing processes as indicated.
• Delivers an exceptional patient experience and helps patients prepare for their provider visits.
• Maintains current knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age and clinical condition.
• Follows medication rights and reduces the potential for medication errors.
• Conducts routine quality control checks, including infection control measures, equipment QA, and checks for expired medication and supplies.
• Ensures exam rooms are stocked, clean, safe, and ready for patient visits.
• Provides telephone triage per approved protocols and follows escalation pathways.
• Under direction of a Provider, performs LPN‑appropriate visits such as vaccinations, procedures, ABI, spirometry, EKGs, etc. as permitted by local laws.
• Performs waived laboratory testing and schedules diagnostic testing and prior authorization.
• Administers Social Determinants of Health screenings and addresses identified needs.
• Facilitates communication across all parties and assists with durable medical equipment application.
• Participates in care team meetings and contributes to clinic operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with:

• A minimum 2 years of LPN experience, primary care strongly preferred.
• Active LPN licensure in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.
• EMR experience and proficiency required; athenahealth experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, accountability, and a flexible, positive attitude.
