We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a weekend RN Supervisor
. In this role, you will manage and oversee all nursing staff in our facility, ensuring optimal patient care, staff coordination, and efficient clinical operations. The RN Supervisor will serve as a leadership presence, addressing any concerns, supporting the team, and ensuring the facility’s high standards of care are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead nursing staff, providing direction, support, and guidance as needed. Ensure staffing levels are appropriate and manage scheduling.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care by monitoring and evaluating patient conditions, reviewing care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to address patient needs.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, assist with complex patient care needs, and promote a culture of continuous improvement in nursing practices.
- Address and resolve any clinical or operational issues that arise. Act as a point of escalation for nursing staff, patients, and family members.
- Ensure that all nursing documentation is accurate, timely, and in compliance with regulatory standards. Assist with audits and reviews as required.
- Support ongoing education and development of nursing staff by offering mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for skill enhancement.
- Work closely with other departments, including physicians and administrative staff, to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care delivery over the weekend.
- Be available for urgent issues or staffing concerns that may arise outside of regularly scheduled shifts.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Previous experience in an acute care, long-term care, or relevant healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities.
- CPR and BLS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Weekend availability is a must for this role.
