JobSpecifications
- Valid Class-A CDL
- 2 years' experience operating Class-A equipment
- Safe driving record
- Family friendly attitude
- Safely deliver freight in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of equipment.
- Comply with all Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier, and state and local laws and regulations regarding safety and compliance.
- Adhere to company safety and operational policies and procedures.
- Proactively communicate service issues with driver manager.
- Immediately notify driver manager of an accident/incident involving equipment damage or an on-the-job injury, and complete the proper forms in a timely fashion.
- Communicate and update status information with dispatch in a timely fashion.
- Turn in legible, accurate and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional contact with customers and other carriers.
- Carefully follow instructions and directions.
- Participate in Safety Review Committee meetings.
- Train and mentor new drivers on proper and safe driving techniques and procedures.
