Overview

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional violin instructor to teach part-time at The Music Shop, in Boonton, New Jersey. This position is in person with Monday and Saturday availability, plus other weekday afternoons as needed.

• Teach violin in person at The Music Shop, Boonton, NJ.
• Set and manage your availability within our open hours; provide consistent scheduling to students and staff.
• Maintain punctuality and professional conduct; ensure a positive learning environment for students.
• Pass a routine background check as part of employment requirements.
• Collaborate with Ensemble Schools’ Shared Services and staff as needed to support students and programs.

• Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Strong love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
• Reliable transportation and commitment to punctuality.
• Ability to pass routine background checks.

• Instructor pay is commensurate with experience, in the range of $30–34/hour.
• 401(k) program with employer matching available after 90 days on the job.
