Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000 to $90,000 per year Design water and wastewater equipment that actually gets built, working closely with the fabricators who bring your Solid Works models to life.

Must-Haves Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline3 to 4 years of mechanical design experience (standout candidates with 2 years considered)
Proficiency in Solid Works Strong  mechanical aptitude with the ability to figure out how something gets built

Accurate, detail-oriented drawing work Comfort reviewing designs with fabricators and taking their input

Must live within commuting distance of Morris County (no relocation)
What You’ll DoDesign water and wastewater equipment in Solid Works and produce fabrication drawings

Carry conveyor designs from requirements to released drawings

Figure out how to build new equipment the company has never made before

Visit the nearby fabrication shop to review plans and solve build questions

Prepare drawings for outside fabricators with the right level of detail

Support project engineers with the design work each order needs

Get the details right so equipment is built once and fits the first time

Nice-to-Haves Conveyor or fabricated equipment design experience

Water or wastewater industry background

Interest in growing toward project engineering
