Position Summary:

Lab Packaging Technicians are responsible for packaging laboratory-produced items such as cartridges, tinctures, etc. Attention to detail is crucial, as accurate measuring, counting, and labeling are essential.

Environmental Factors:

This role involves working in environments with high plant matter and pollen, temperature fluctuations, high humidity, and potential exposure to dust, particles, and harsh cleaning chemicals. Protective gear is required, and employees must be comfortable working under these conditions.

Physical Requirements:
  • Lift or move at least 50 lbs
  • Sit, stand, kneel, bend, squat, walk for extended periods
  • Use hands and fingers for handling and feeling
  • Work with hazardous chemicals following safety protocols
  • Wear PPE and non-slip shoes
Responsibilities:
  • Follow packaging schedules to meet efficiency goals
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in good condition
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and legal standards
  • Operate and maintain packaging machinery
  • Accurately report data and maintain documentation
  • Contribute to SOP improvements
  • Manage inventory of packaging materials and finished products
  • Handle chemicals safely and dispose of waste properly
  • Maintain a safe and organized environment
  • Support the Packaging Lead and meet deadlines
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency
  • Work nights and weekends as needed
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving in a team environment
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in GMP manufacturing or laboratories preferred
  • Experience in the cannabis industry preferred
