Job Title:
Electronics Assembler.
Location:
Boonton, NJ.
- Responsible for complex and diversified assembly of a variety of products, primarily through-hole PC boards, for which procedures and methods are prescribed.
- Intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligningrin of a considerable number of parts (involving close tolerances and interrelated factors) are required to complete products, units, or sub‑assemblies.
- Applies excellent hand‑soldering skills. Use work order package and utilize on‑line barcode reporting system for labor and manufacturing quantities. Fabricates the Company’s products in part or whole via established procedures and methods.
- Assembles and/or wires complex equipment following blueprints, models, and model prints. Skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning are required within close tolerances.
- Performs through‑hole PCB assembly.
- Follows work cell procedures.
- Sets up and operates one or more basic production machines such as component trim machines, Amp machines, and riveting machines.
- Is flexible and able to perform many operations on products in and out of the home department.
- Solders to best commercial specifications primarily through‑hole component.
- Uses hand and power tools as required.
- Builds harness assemblies.
- Uses work order package and utilizes on‑line barcode reporting system for labor Nikol and manufacturing quantities.
- Performs related duties assigned by Supervisor.
- Works as required.
- Strives to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment.
- Minimum of 1‑3 years electronic assembly experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics, identify components and colour codes.
- Excellent soldering skills.
- Must have good verbal communication skills.
