Salary: £25,583 -£25,989 per annum

We are looking to recruit a People and Organisational Development Assistant on a temporary basis, whilst the current postholder is on maternity leave.
Responsibilities- To providing administrative support for the Organisational Development Team, ensuring that all training records are accurate and fit for purpose within the relevant applications.
- Nominating personnel for Fire Service College and general training courses.
- Updating records on the relevant HR/Payroll application (currently Resource link).
- Sending out joining instructions and recording attendance.
- Informing Time and Resource Management (TRM) of any course nominations for operational crews/senior officers to ensure staffing is available.
- Assisting with the administration of Recruitment & Development budgets.
- You hold the GCSE Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent) and a Level 2 ICT qualification, eg, ECDL (or similar).
- You are fully experienced in all administrative process and practices and can work effectively as part of a team.
- You are experienced in data input and interrogation and producing reports and are experienced in all Microsoft packages.
- You are an effective communicator both verbally and in writing and are able to manage highly confidential data appropriately.
- 23 days’ holiday, rising to 28 days after 5 years’ service, plus Bank holidays and 2 additional Extra Statutory days added to the holiday entitlement.
