As a Children Social Worker in the Social / NGO / Health & Care industry you will play a pivotal role in supporting and advocating for the well-being of children and their families. This position is crucial in ensuring that children receive the necessary care protection and support to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. You will work closely with various stakeholders including families schools and community organizations to develop and implement strategies that address the unique needs of each child.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to identify the needs and risks of children and their families.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of children.
- Provide counseling and support to children and families facing challenging circumstances.
- Collaborate with schools healthcare providers and community organizations to coordinate services.
- Advocate for the rights and welfare of children in various settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of children and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Proven experience working with children in a social work capacity.
- Strong understanding of child development and family dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals.
- Empathy patient and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of children.
- Bachelors degree in Social Work Psychology or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in social work are highly desirable.
