We are expanding our casual event staff team for The 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale and are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join us. This is your opportunity to be part of one of the world’s most prestigious golf championships, helping to deliver an exceptional experience for thousands of spectators attending this globally recognised sporting event. You’ll be part of a friendly and professional team helping ensure the event runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently while creating a memorable experience for every guest attending the championship.

• Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour (holiday pay included)
• Event Dates:
  Sunday 12th July - Sunday 19th July 2026
• Flexible shifts available throughout the championship week

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist guests with directions, seating, and general event information
• Support crowd management and follow all event safety procedures
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment throughout the event
• Respond confidently and professionally to guest queries
• Assist with event operations as directed by supervisors and management

• Right to work in the UK
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience in events, stewarding, or customer service
