English is a highly valued subject within the school, making this an ideal opportunity for a passionate English Teacher.

Teacher Active is seeking an English Teacher to start in January 2025, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. There will also be an opportunity to support the school this term for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be confident teaching across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, including GCSE exam preparation. The school is looking for someone adaptable, calm under pressure, and able to work collaboratively with a committed and enthusiastic staff team.

The successful English Teacher will have:

- QTS with English specialism (ECT’s are welcome to apply)

- Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 5 / KS5

- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
