February 2026 - July 2026 Pay - £445 to £530 (weekly) (inclusive of holiday pay) Rate of pay is dependent on level of qualifications, experience, and additional training

CER Education is supporting a 3 form entry Primary school in Ainsdale, Sefton in recruiting a FULL TIME Teaching Assistant to work in on a 1:1 basis with a child with SEMH needs (Key Stage
2).

This role will start in February (after successful interview process) and will run potentially for the full academic year to July 2026.

There will also be some general classroom support element to your role.

• Teaching Assistant qualification with classroom based experience in KS1/KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• To support the class teacher and work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND needs
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
