CER Education are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has a passion to support the next generation.
About the School and RoleThe school, based in Bootle, provides support to pupils aged 5-16 with SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health). It is essential that you have previous experience supporting in a similar environment and that you are familiar with following EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans).
The role is to start as soon as possible and the contract will initially be offered on a Temporary basis but does have a view to become permanent for the right applicant. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8:30am until 3:30pm, however the school can offer flexibility of part time.
To become part of the CER Education team you will ideally have- Previous experience with pupils with additional needs such as SEMH
- Be comfortable working 1-on-1 with students.
- Work well under considerable pressure.
- Be both adaptable and flexible.
- Have excellent punctuality and organisation.
- Be positive and friendly.
- Possibly extra qualifications (e.g. Team Teach, PRICE, etc.).
- The constant care and support of a dedicated consultant.
