Sefton Sixth Form College is seeking a Head of Faculty:
Mathematics, Sciences & Health to lead a diverse and high-profile curriculum area, driving excellence in teaching, learning and student achievement.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the educational experience of hundreds of young people while leading and developing talented teaching staff within a thriving sixth form environment. You'll play a pivotal role in setting standards, driving continuous improvement and ensuring students achieve their full potential.

About the RoleAs Head of Faculty, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Mathematics, Sciences and Health, creating a culture where high expectations, innovation and collaboration thrive.
- Lead and inspire curriculum teams to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
- Drive student achievement, progress, attendance and high-grade performance across the faculty.
- Use performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective strategies for success.
- Champion quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
- Develop and support staff, creating an environment where colleagues feel valued, challenged and empowered to excel.
- Build strong partnerships that enhance the student experience and enrich learning opportunities.

- A degree and recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience of leading curriculum quality improvement.
- A track record of raising standards and improving performance.
- Strong understanding of achievement, progress measures and value-added performance.
- Experience of managing and developing staff to achieve ambitious goals.
- Excellent communication, coaching and leadership skills.
