Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Sefton seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop essential cooking skills, nutritional knowledge and food preparation techniques in a safe and engaging learning environment.

• Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teaching practical cooking skills, food preparation and nutrition.
• Promoting food hygiene, health and safety, and safe use of kitchen equipment.
• Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress.
• Creating an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment.
• Contributing to the wider life of the Design & Technology department and school.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for practical learning and developing students' life skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
