Preschool Teacher

Overview

Axcis Education is working on behalf of a welcoming mainstream primary school in Southport to recruit a passionate and nurturing Preschool Teacher for a full‑time position. • Planning and delivering creative, child‑centred EYFS learning opportunities.
• Monitoring, assessing and recording children's progress in line with EYFS requirements.
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children's wellbeing and development.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, families and external professionals where required.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school and maintaining high standards of safeguarding and professional practice.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (or be an ECT) and have, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service. Experience supporting children with a range of learning needs and strong behaviour management skills would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills, a passion for early years education and a commitment to inclusive teaching are essential.

Full‑time role offering the opportunity to become part of a friendly, supportive staff team dedicated to helping children thrive. This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
