We have immediate opportunities to start from day 1 of September for dedicated, upbeat Cover Supervisors across secondary schools in Bootle and surrounding Sefton areas (L20 and L21).

• Practical background in SEN support, care work, youth mentoring, 1:1 assistance, or classroom support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teenagers.
• Confidence with classroom management and handling low:level disruption assertively.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness ).

• Supervise high school classes (KS3 and KS4) during short:term teacher absences.
• Deliver pre:set work and learning instructions provided by the department.
• Maintain strong classroom control using the schools positive behaviour policies.
• Keep students focused and on:task throughout each lesson period.
• Collect completed work and report back to the subject department head.
