Primary Supply Teacher

We are open to receiving applications from Early Years Teachers (ECT’s) and more experienced. Our large, two-form entry primary school in Crosby are on the lookout for an experienced, or newly qualified, primary School teacher to work in a welcoming primary school on a full-time basis.

As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across different year groups, supporting pupils’ learning and maintaining the high standards of teaching and behaviour expected within our school.

• Teach all areas of the school curriculum.
• Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
• Maintain discipline.
• Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil’sdevelopment.
• Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
• Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Able to provide Referees.
• An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
