We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive
Secondary school in Crosby L23
to recruit a
full-time Graduate Academic Coach
for a September 2026 start. Interviews will be taking place throughout June/July.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, while also developing key skills supporting students with
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)and
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)needs.

• First-hand classroom experience in a secondary and sixth form setting
• Practical experience supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs
• Exposure to a range of differentiation strategies and inclusive teaching approaches
• Experience working with pupils preparing for GCSEs and A-Levels
• Ongoing support and guidance from experienced teaching staff
• A strong foundation for teacher training, educational psychology, or pastoral roles

• Pay: £500–£530 per week

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Working 1:1 and in small groups with students, including those with SEND and SEMH needs
• Implementing strategies to support behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
• Assisting in the delivery of tailored interventions and differentiated learning activities
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour in a calm, consistent manner
• Building positive, trusting relationships with students to support their development
• Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

• Hold (or are predicted) a 2:2 degree or above
• Have a genuine interest in supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs
• Are patient, resilient, and empathetic
• Can build positive relationships and remain calm under pressure
• Are confident, proactive, and adaptable
• Are committed for the full academic year (September 2026 – July 2027)
• Communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
