The Supply Register is proud to be working alongside Litherland Moss Primary School, who are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their school immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or someone with relevant experience who is passionate about supporting young children with their learning, development and wellbeing.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role within the classroom, supporting the teacher and children to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment.
The Role- Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of EYFS activities and learning
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support to children
- Supporting children's early reading, writing and numeracy development
- Helping children develop their confidence, independence and communication skills
- Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
- Encouraging learning through play and practical activities
- Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
- Helping to create a safe, positive and engaging classroom environment
- Encouraging children to remain engaged and focused on their learning
- Supporting children's day-to-day development and wellbeing
- Working closely with teachers and other school staff
- Building positive, caring and supportive relationships with children
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and committed EYFS Teaching Assistant in Litherland Moss who can make a positive difference to children's early learning and development.
Experience as a:- Teaching Assistant (TA)
- EYFS Teaching Assistant
- Early Years Practitioner
- Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
- Classroom Support Assistant
- Nursery Assistant
- SEN Teaching Assistant
- Education Support Worker
- Previous experience working within a school, nursery or educational setting is desirable
- Experience supporting young children or children in EYFS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Ability to build positive relationships with children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
- A good understanding of safeguarding and the importance of following school procedures
- A fully enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
DBS REQUIREMENTA fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required for this role. Candidates must be able to provide their DBS details for verification before commencing work.
