Join us as a Senior Personal Banker in Southport.
What you're responsible for- Proactively support customers, helping them realise the full benefits of our service through our digital channels, and assisting with more complex financial needs such as home buying and protection.
- Deliver a banking service that goes beyond expectations with a variety of tasks each day.
- Support career development by achieving the Professional Bankers Certificate and building on existing skills with a full training and development programme.
- Your role does not meet Skilled Worker visa sponsorship requirements.
- Meet and support customers via video banking or face to face in a branch.
- Conduct Financial Health Checks and review customer accounts.
- Identify products and services that meet customers' needs, helping them optimize their money and savings.
- Spot opportunities for customers with more complex needs such as mortgages, private banking, business banking and protection.
- Complete outbound care calls to customers to grow and maintain relationships.
We’re looking for organised, self‑motivated and diligent individuals with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You’ll also be motivated and driven to develop your own career and meet branch and personal goals.
- Experience of working in a customer service environment, thriving under pressure and achieving customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work with and coach the branch team to acquire, grow, and retain quality customer relationships via regular care calls.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers in both face‑to‑face and virtual environments and provide them with the right options for their circumstances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in building relationships.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
