Working Hours:

35 hours per week, generally 9 am-5 pm with an hour for lunch. Flexible start and finish times are available. Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, DOE Our client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Crosby, offering a supportive environment where you will have the opportunity to develop a long-term career within tax. You will join a small tax team where you will receive hands-on training and mentoring from experienced tax professionals, allowing you to develop your skills and progress your career within tax.

The Role This role is ideal for a Personal Tax Assistant with experience in personal tax who is looking to develop their career, broaden their technical knowledge, and gain exposure to corporate tax. Initially, the role will focus mainly on personal tax compliance, preparing personal tax returns and liaising with clients regarding tax information. As your experience develops, you will receive training and support to build your corporate tax knowledge, progressing into Corporation Tax returns, tax planning techniques, and broader tax advisory work over time.

This is an office-based role in Crosby to provide the necessary training, supervision, and support. Some overtime may be required during busy periods, particularly around the January self-assessment deadline.
