Location: Sefton

Outreach is social care provider with over 28 years experience in caring for people in their own homes.

We are looking for honest and caring people to join our existing team. This role requires you to have a full enhanced police check this is paid for by the company.

The role is office based you will occasionally be required to carry out community based work covering the Southport area.

The role requires you to work with the care manager to ensure high standards of care are delivered to our clients at all times. You will monitor the performance of care staff and offer help and support to them when needed, to ensure high standards are maintained.

Main Duties:
  • Work as part of the office team dealing with telephone calls and taking actions needed to ensure high quality service to our clients
  • Work with management team to keep clients and staff safe and report or deal with issues promptly
  • Delivering high quality person centred care to our clients when needed to cover staff shortages or sickness
  • Monitor new staff on shadowing and training shifts to ensure suitabilty
  • Keep all digital records updated and take action when required to ensure client and staff safety
Working Hours:

Guaranteed hours contract 35 hours a week (on call paid on top of contracted hours)

Monday to Friday, 9am - 4pm

We can be flexible on shifts depending on skills and experience - willing to work around your availability

Cover on call duties 1x night per week and 1 weekend in 4 on a rota basis

Pay Rates:
  • Base - £14.50 per hour rising to £15 after 3 months probation
  • Travel time and Mileage at 45p
Requirements:
  • Valid driving licence and own car
  • Female and male applicants are welcome
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a social care environment
  • Digital skills experience of working on digital care platform
  • Willing to undergo additional qualifications in health and social care
