Do you have a background in CCTV, Telecoms, IT or similar? Are you looking for a varied technical support role offering a good mix of hands on and desk support-based work?

This is a unique opportunity to secure a hands-on role, with a growing specialist logistics company that operates within the shipping and haulage sector.

This role involves the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems for the business, as well as hands on diagnostics and repair of CCTV and access control systems across the site.

You will also be responsible for supporting on-site computer hardware and software, including laptops, Wi-Fi networks, and infrastructure, as well as hands on maintenance. Due to the nature of the business and the hands-on aspects of the role, you must be comfortable with some outdoor working, working at height, and operating across dockside areas.

The Candidate:

Experience in an IT based role

CompTIA A+ qualification preferred

Driving License

The Role:

On-site hardware and software support

Hands on installs and repairs of CCTV and Access Control

2 weeks on / 2 weeks off on-call rota (remote support out of hours when on call)

Implementing, maintaining, and improving IT infrastructure and systems
