Event Staff - Birkdale - Golf

Live close to or near Birkdale – Southport? Fancy event work – litter picking, cleaning? Like the sound of £13.45PH? Over 18?

Blue Arrow is supporting the Golf Open to be held in Southport this year. The event staff we are looking for will be from 9th to 24th July.

During this prestigious event you will be ensuring the area always looks and stays clean, which may involve litter picking, emptying bins, clearing stalls, cleaning communal areas and general housekeeping.

Royal Birkdale Golf Club, Southport

• General Cleaning Operatives
• Litter Pickers / Grounds Cleaning Staff

• Maintaining cleanliness across event areas, spectator zones, walkways and facilities
• Litter picking and waste removal across outdoor and high‑footfall areas
• Cleaning and replenishing public areas, toilets and staff facilities
• Working to high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation
• Supporting the event team to ensure a positive experience for visitors

• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
• A positive, can‑do attitude with good attention to detail

• £13.45 – £14.45 per hour
• Weekly pay

• 6am – 13.30pm, 13.30 – 8pm daily with some night shifts for full cleaning 8pm – 6am
• Temporary roles covering the Open Championship period
• Flexible shifts available across event days
• Full‑time and part‑time hours available
