Dovehaven House is a residential care home catering for up to 40 residents. The home specializes in dementia care, and our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible. Our homes promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment.

As a Domestic Assistant, you'll play an important role in ensuring residents enjoy a clean, safe, and comfortable environment every day.

This includes:

• Following daily cleaning schedules throughout the home
• Hoovering, dusting, polishing, and mopping floors
• Shampooing carpets and maintaining communal areas
• Supporting high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Assisting with laundry duties including washing, drying, and ironing
• Ensuring clothing and bedding are labelled and cared for correctly
• Working closely with colleagues to maintain a welcoming environment
• Supporting residents with kindness, dignity, and respect

The right person will be:

Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous domestic or housekeeping experience
• An understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Good organisational and time management skills
• The ability to work efficiently and use initiative
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team

• 2 weekly pay
• 28 days annual leave (pro rata)
