Homes Manager / Registered Children's Home Manager
Location: Southport, Merseyside
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 DOE (plus overtime available)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday Friday, 8:00am 4:00pm
Home Size: 2/3 bed children's home
- 200 hours annual leave plus statutory bank holidays (equivalent to 6 weeks annual leave).

- Previous experience managing or deputising within a children's residential setting.
- Ability to register with Ofsted and successfully complete a Fit Person interview.
- Strong knowledge of children's residential legislation, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
- Experience leading and developing residential care teams.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, rotas and operational performance.
- Ability to build positive relationships with young people, families and professionals.
- Experience of working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for children and young people.
- Willingness to achieve a Diploma Level 5 in Children, Young People and Families Leadership and Management if not already held.
- The role requires flexibility to undertake additional duties in response to the needs of the service.
- The successful candidate will be expected to submit an application to Ofsted to become the Registered Manager.
