Location: Sefton

Homes Manager / Registered Children's Home Manager

Location: Southport, Merseyside
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 DOE (plus overtime available)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Home Size: 2/3 bed children's home

Successful Candidates
  • Previous experience managing or deputising within a children's residential setting.
  • Ability to register with Ofsted and successfully complete a Fit Person interview.
  • Strong knowledge of children's residential legislation, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading and developing residential care teams.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, rotas and operational performance.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with young people, families and professionals.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with complex needs.
  • Commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for children and young people.
  • Willingness to achieve a Diploma Level 5 in Children, Young People and Families Leadership and Management if not already held.
Additional Information
  • The role requires flexibility to undertake additional duties in response to the needs of the service.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to submit an application to Ofsted to become the Registered Manager.
