The Faculty of Arts at the University of Regina is seeking a Research Assistant for energy transition studies in Nova Scotia and PEI. Ideal candidates are graduate students with research experience, able to summarize literature and transcribe interviews effectively. Successful applicants will work independently and be comfortable reaching out to organizations related to environmental issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transcribe and code interviews for research analysis
• Review academic and policy literature on energy transition
• Conduct outreach to organizations involved in energy initiatives
• Summarize findings from academic databases
• Maintain flexibility in work hours for research tasks
Requirements:
• Graduate student with prior research assistant experience
• Proficient typing and summarization skills
• Strong Internet research abilities
• Excellent communication for outreach efforts
• Residency in Nova Scotia or PEI is necessary
Contribute your skills to meaningful research on energy transition movements while collaborating within the community.
